Laravel vs Node.js for Business Applications
Laravel is a PHP framework with a full set of conventions for routing, data, authentication and background work. Node.js is a JavaScript runtime. With a framework on top, it is also a normal way to build a server-side application.
Choose Laravel when the team is productive in PHP and the product is a classic server-rendered or API-backed business application. Choose Node.js when the rest of the product is already JavaScript, or when you want one language across a Next.js frontend and the API.
The database, the deployment and the quality of the domain model matter more than the logo on the framework. A clear PostgreSQL or MySQL schema will outlast a fashionable stack choice.
Vyzure works with both. The recommendation on a real project should follow the product, not a preference stated in advance.
