How to Build an MVP
An MVP is a working product with the one path that makes the idea true. For a marketplace, that might be finding a listing and completing the core action. For a SaaS tool, it is the job a user would pay to finish.
Write the path as steps a person takes. Everything that is not on that path can wait. Admin tools that you need to operate the product are part of the path. Extra dashboards usually are not.
Design the MVP as the product, not as a throwaway. The point of moving quickly is to avoid unused features, not to write code you plan to delete.
When the first version is in use, the next build should come from what people actually did, not from the original wishlist.
